• Receiver - The receiver on this year's Grade VII trap gun is a melding of modern engineering and traditional artistry. The standard Citori 725 steel low·profile receiver has beautifully intricate deep relief engraving with a beautiful and rugged silver nitride finish.
• Barrel - A high post floating top rib. allowing superior target visibility and tracking, sits atop a ported barrel (barrel porting reduces muzzle rise, aiding accuracy-essential follow through). The top and side ribs are ventilated for superior aesthetics and barrel cooling, instrumental in reducing target obscuring heat mirage.
• Action - The Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger System sets the Citori 725 apart from lesser traditional over and unders, providing a crisp break, less take up, and shorter overtravel, while providing better second shot reliability than recoil dependent inertial triggers. Hammer ejectors quickly propel shells out of the chambers with a satisfyingly audible "click", allowing for quick and unobstructed reloads so you can stay mentally focused on your next shot. A top-tang barrel selector/safety switch allows you to quickly feel with your thumb or visually identify which barrel you are firing and confirm that you are "safe".
• Stock - The Grade VI/VII walnut stock on the Citori 725 High Grade trap guns are as beautiful as they are functional. The oil finish highlights the ' tiger·striping" in the wood grain and the finely detailed checkering on the pistol grip and forearm. The stock is shaped with a close radius pistol grip and palm swell along with a semi-beavertail forearm with finger grooves in order lo avoid an overly tight yet secure grip on the gun. The raised Monte Carlo cheekpiece raises your eyes online with the high post rib. Last but not least, the ventilated trap recoil pad is a favorite among competitive trap shooters, based on its classic design and excellent recoil reduction.

  • Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones combined with back-bored barrels minimize shot deformation and maximize shot pattern uniformity.
    
  • Five extended Invector-DS choke tubes - Invector-DS choke tubes combine muzzle-end threads and thin-wall construction for longer, more gradually tapered choke tubes that produce extremely consistent and dense shot patterns. The "DS" stands for double-seal; our proprietary differential-banded brass seal keeps threads cleaner for easier installation and removal.
