Feather Technology is found primarily on Citori and Cynergy over and under shotguns. It significantly reduces the weight of an over and under shotgun by approximately one pound by using a high quality alloy for the receiver rather than steel. To maintain maximum durability, the breech face is a dovetailed steel insert. Citori models also use a full-width steel hinge pin and Cynergy shotguns feature steel MonoLock Hinge surfaces.
