How to Return your Browning Firearm or Outdoor Product for Service.

Firearms Service or Repairs

If your firearm should require service or repairs, we suggest you first contact a local recommended Browning Authorized Service Center. Otherwise, you may send your firearm directly to our own Service Department by following the instructions below. For technical questions about your firearm or service call our Service Department.

All quoted repairs declined by the incoming shipping party or gun owner will be assessed a fee of $50.00 to cover the cost of quote/repair evaluation and return shipping.

Service Repair Form

When returning your Firearm or Outdoor Product for servicing, you must do the following:

  1. Use the Service Repair Form (download a PDF copy from this page).
  2. Refer to the obsolete parts and service list to ensure that your firearm is still being serviced by Browning's Service Department.
  3. Be sure your gun is completely unloaded.
  4. Package the product securely in a cardboard container.
  5. Enclose a letter with your firearm or outdoor product that clearly describes the trouble experienced and the repairs or alterations desired.
  6. Never return ammunition with your firearm. It is against postal and most commercial regulations.
  7. If you are sending your firearm in for service for "feeding issues" or anything that might be magazine related we require the magazines be sent with your firearm.

ALL QUOTED REPAIRS DECLINED BY THE INCOMING SHIPPING PARTY OR GUN OWNER WILL BE ASSESSED A FEE OF $50.00 TO COVER THE COST OF QUOTE/REPAIR EVALUATION AND RETURN SHIPPING. DO NOT INCLUDE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OR MONEY WHEN RETURNING YOUR FIREARM FOR REPAIR!

  • KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR SERIAL NUMBER PRIOR TO PACKAGING YOUR FIREARM FOR SHIPPING
  • PLEASE REMOVE ALL AFTER‐MARKET ACCESSORIES PRIOR TO PACKAGING (SCOPES, BASES, RING, SLINGS, ETC.)
  • MAKE SURE YOUR FIREARM IS ADEQUATELY PACKAGED AND INSURED AS BROWNING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE THAT OCCURS DURING SHIPMENT TO US
  • RETAIN YOUR TRACKING INFORMATION WHEN SHIPPING YOUR FIREARM
  • PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF VALID FFL & ANY STATE LICENSES IF REQUIRED
  • BE SURE TO SEND IN THE COMPLETE FIREARM
